Did you know that 10% of callers volunteer their name without being asked?

What about the other 39% of the callers? We can’t make the appointment or lease the apartment without a name.

Here’s a tip for getting the caller’s name:

If you give your full name to the caller, they are more likely to give you their name.

For example,

“It’s my pleasure to help you with that! My name is David Kotowski. What is your name?”

Or.. “You are going to love our community and I look forward to meeting you. May I have your name? My name is David Kotowski and I will be able to show you everything we have to offer!”

I promise this works and it’s not hard to get someone’s name and use it in conversation. I can almost guarantee that none of your competitors are doing it and that is how you can make the difference in someone’s decision! It’s important to find what feels right to you and use it to get the caller’s name each time.
